Job Summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist II to lead our In-Stock team across multiple locations. This role is responsible for driving inventory optimization and supply chain excellence to support our Great Local Brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute inventory management strategies to achieve optimal inventory levels and reduce stockouts.
  • Lead a team of analysts to achieve goals for Vendor Fill Rate, On-Time Delivery, and Inventory Turns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and vendors, to ensure seamless inventory management and supply chain operations.
  • Conduct regular supply chain reviews with key suppliers to maintain or improve performance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management and supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain optimization, or related field.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in forecasting and replenishment, logistics, and optimization techniques.
  • Leadership experience in inventory management or supply chain optimization.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning, forecasting techniques, and operational systems.
