About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Panasonic Energy of North America (PENA). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance on production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner, using your technical skills and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that equipment is functioning within specified parameters and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production staff to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces; and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications: None required, but preferred certifications may include OSHA, CPR, and first aid.
