Data Center Crew Lead and Fiber Optic Cable Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Center Technician and Fiber Specialist to join our team at IES Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading data center best practices and implementing industry standards in our working processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly support and coordinate all scheduled data center maintenance activities
- Implement cable work orders, testing, and certification
- Asset auditing and daily error logs
- Provide equipment installation and maintenance services
- Maintain a safe and secure operating environment within the data center
- Concise documentation and record keeping
- Ticketing and service calls
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in terminating all connector types and methods for SMF and MMF systems
- Testing and troubleshooting experience in MMF and SMF systems
- Ability to meet IES driving standards policy
- 3-5 years of experience in fiber optic cable installation and maintenance
