Job Description

At Depot Connect International, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) internal audit program. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our management systems and risk management practices are robust and effective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute EHS Audit Plans: Create and implement comprehensive audit plans to verify compliance with our management systems and risk management practices.
  • Lead EHS Audit Teams: Collaborate with our EHS and Operations teams to drive performance, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Enterprise Certifications: Work closely with our Operations Excellence and Quality group to achieve and maintain certifications such as ISO 9001.
  • Risk and Compliance-Based Audits: Develop and implement risk and compliance-based annual and 3-year facility audit plans.
  • Audit Coordination and Execution: Coordinate and conduct the entire life-cycle of audits, including pre-audit preparation, on-site activities, findings, reporting, and verifying/closing corrective actions.
  • Audit Data and Reporting: Manage audit data, reports, dashboards, presentations, and provide data analysis of audit risks and historical performance.
  • Corrective Actions: Collaborate with affected groups to recommend corrective actions and resolve issues involved in outstanding investigations.
  • Risk Mitigation Strategies: Provide leadership and clear direction on risk mitigation strategies and evaluate potential companies during Merger & Acquisition planning.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop, recommend, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures consistent with prevailing industry practices and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Occupational Health/Safety or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience, with 10 years of experience working with teammates and management to improve safety performance, and 10 years of experience conducting EHS audits, inspections, investigations, and coordinating resolution of issues.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and conduct multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be willing and able to travel 40-50%.
