Patient Care Technician

Baylor Scott & White Healthcare is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician - Health Unit Coordinator to join our team at Baylor, Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. This is a full-time position working three 12-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and record patient data, reporting information and observations to the nursing team in a timely manner.
- Perform various patient care duties, including vital sign collection, blood glucose monitoring, and urinary catheter care.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and eating.
- Complete and maintain unit and patient records, files, and documents related to work area management and patient care.
- Prepare reports, purchase orders, and other documents using computer programs.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting visitors and answering telephones.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
