About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Dobson Fiber. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Hazard Assessments and Compliance Audits: Conduct regular hazard assessments and compliance audits to identify potential risks and ensure that our facilities and operations meet all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and to promote a culture of safety within our organization.
  • Provide Training and Development: Provide training and development programs to ensure that all employees are aware of their safety responsibilities and are equipped to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Investigate Incidents and Accidents: Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor and Report Compliance: Monitor and report on our compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including facility management and operations teams, to ensure that safety and compliance are integrated into all aspects of our business.
Requirements
  • Three (3) Years' Safety Experience: A minimum of three years' experience in a safety-related role, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex safety information to employees at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health, or a related field, with relevant coursework in safety management, risk assessment, and compliance.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certification: A CSP or ASP certification, demonstrating a high level of expertise in safety management and compliance.
