We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the most powerful product on the SuiteCloud Platform.

Our mission is to provide a state-of-the-art SDLC experience on the cloud, enabling partners and internal solutions groups to automate and streamline their development processes and practices.

We are the team that makes application development, testing, publishing, and distribution possible on the SuiteCloud Platform.

Clients build on the platform directly or install SuiteApps built on the platform by independent solution vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement features that enable customers, partners, and internal teams to develop, test, publish, and distribute their customization solutions on SuiteCloud Platform.
  • Develop in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and think about clean code, performance, backwards compatibility, versioning, tooling, testing, and architecture.
  • Work closely with other development teams and departments, product management, user experience, documentation, and QA to define and implement new product offerings while ensuring the continued functionality of the existing SuiteCloud Platform.
Requirements
  • B.S. or Master's in computer engineering or equivalent.
  • Drive for software design best practices and clean code principles.
  • Clear and effective communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts.
  • 5+ years software development experience with Java (or C# or similar) and JavaScript.
  • SQL database experience (schema design, development of efficient queries, PL/SQL).
  • Understanding of HTTP, Internet protocols, web browsers.
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns, Object Programming Paradigm, and SOLID principles.
  • Knowledge of ECMAScript versions and browser compatibility.
  • Experience in designing, architecting, and implementing high-performance scalable applications.
  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements.
  • Open mind for discussion and team collaboration.
  • Pride in your work and a desire to delight the customer motivates you to take initiative, responsibility, and ownership of your projects.
  • A self-starter who can take a bit of directional input and then drive projects autonomously (but understands when to ask for help).
  • A positive and resilient personality - you must be able to embrace feedback and have a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work with geographically distributed teams.
  • Valid work permit for USA.
