Piedmont Eastside Medical Center Operating Room Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Assist with preparing patients for surgery, including administering medications and conducting pre-operative assessments
  • Monitor patients during surgery and provide support to the surgical team as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Qualifications:
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
  • BLS certification required
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
