Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and surgical needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is coordinated.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or eligible for licensure through the NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- Minimum one year of experience in the operating room or a related healthcare setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced certification in a specialty area, such as perioperative nursing, is preferred.
