Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to manage patient care in our state-of-the-art facilities. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring seamless patient transitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient care of assigned patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and communication.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period.
  • Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  • Prior Operating Room experience or completion of a course in Operating Room nursing (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National certification in specialty area.
  • Continuing education and professional growth opportunities.
