Insulation Installation Specialist

Location: Fife, Washington. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Fife area.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Insulation Installation Specialist to become an integral part of our workforce. In this role, you will be responsible for the application of blown-in insulation materials, aimed at improving energy efficiency and thermal comfort in both residential and commercial properties. Your meticulous nature, physical endurance, and adherence to safety standards will be vital to the success of our insulation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blown-In Insulation Application: Carry out the installation of blown-in insulation materials following project specifications and industry best practices.
  • Work Area Preparation: Prepare the job site by protecting surfaces and ensuring adequate ventilation to maintain a safe and organized workspace for insulation application.
  • Equipment Setup: Assemble insulation blowing machines and other essential tools, ensuring they are functioning correctly and calibrated appropriately.
  • Material Management: Safely and efficiently manage insulation materials, including loading them into the blowing machine and transporting them to the job site.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of insulation application to guarantee uniform coverage and appropriate density, making necessary adjustments to achieve the best results.
  • Safety Adherence: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries during insulation application, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including supervisors and fellow technicians, to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient project execution.
  • Site Cleanup and Maintenance: Conduct cleanup of work areas post-insulation application, disposing of waste materials properly, and performing routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in insulation application or a related construction field is preferred, though we are open to training motivated candidates.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods, while maintaining a high level of physical fitness and endurance.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong focus on detail and precision in performing insulation application tasks to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet project objectives.
