Renowned Systems Biologist Researcher

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Output Biosciences.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge AI systems capable of complex biological reasoning across multiple scales. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance model performance, developing and fine-tuning generative models for biological applications, working on distributed training systems to scale our models to billions of parameters, engineering efficient data pipelines to manage and process massive biological datasets, and developing and implementing robust evaluation frameworks for complex biological models.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and implementing machine learning models is also necessary.
- Proficiency in Python and expertise in at least one major deep learning framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX) are required. Experience with deep learning and generative architectures such as transformers, diffusion models, and autoencoders is also essential.
- Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments, including AWS for training, inference, and deployment, is necessary.
- A strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including various model architectures, optimization techniques, and evaluation metrics, is required.
- Skills in designing and implementing efficient data pipelines for processing and managing large datasets, developing robust evaluation frameworks, and ensuring data integrity in machine learning projects are necessary.
