Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI & CT Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will operate a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner to produce high-quality images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision or repeats.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them for optimal scanning.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed to ensure high-quality images.
  • Converse with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required to provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
Department Support
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Provide training and technical expertise to new associates.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in your work.
