Walden Street Schools offers comprehensive treatment to adolescent females with mental health issues, behavioral difficulties, and complex trauma histories through individualized care and strengths-based, trauma-informed treatment. We utilize the evidence-based treatment model ARC to help students build positive relationships, learn self-regulation skills, and transform their individual interests into sources of strength, resilience, and success. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supplemental clinical work on assigned cases to support treatment facilitated by the full-time clinician.
  • Facilitate completion of self-report measures on CATS assessments.
  • Participate in intakes and complete required documentation.
  • Attend weekly grand rounds with Walden's prescriber and multidisciplinary team.
  • Co-facilitate weekly clinical groups with a full-time clinician.
  • Participate in weekly clinical department meetings (group supervision).
  • Participate in monthly SMART and family consultations.

Requirements:
  • Minimum working towards a Master's degree or above in social work or mental health counseling (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT).
  • Both LMHC and LICSW supervision available/supervision by an LICSW/LMHC.
  • Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required, and familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
