Position Overview:
AMSG Inc is looking for a dedicated Business Analyst / Continuous Process Improvement Specialist with experience in Army training and doctrine. This role is essential in enhancing our support for various Department of Defense (DoD) and related federal programs through effective performance management services.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
  • Facilitate knowledge management (KM) initiatives by establishing best practices in content management.
  • Utilize business management expertise to implement innovative problem-solving techniques, including design thinking and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Communicate and promote the organization's KM processes, providing training and orientation as needed.
  • Analyze and enhance existing business processes and systems to drive improvements in overall performance.
  • Support the development of new KM processes and assist in diagnosing current challenges to ensure effective redesign and monitoring.

Specific Duties:
The Business Analyst/CPI Specialist will:
  • Assist clients in leveraging collaborative tools for effective information sharing.
  • Analyze and optimize conventional office systems and business processes using Microsoft Office and other software solutions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in Organizational Behavior and Change Management.
  • Apply performance management and strategic planning principles to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop metrics for measuring KM processes and identify future improvement opportunities.
  • Diagram and assess existing processes for optimization.
  • Contribute to the creation of policies and procedures that support business process improvements.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).
  • Experience in Business Administration, Management, Technology, or Statistics with a proven track record in applying business technologies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to lead by influence.
  • Familiarity with Army KM and Business Process Improvement policies.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proven experience in supporting senior government leaders in an onsite capacity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing projects to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online is a plus.
