Position Summary

We are in search of a proficient Clinical Specimen Collection Specialist to become a vital part of our dedicated team. This role is centered around executing blood collection procedures, accurately labeling samples, and maintaining the integrity and precision of specimen acquisition and processing. The position entails managing a high volume of daily tasks, including numerous blood draws, processing specimens through centrifugation, documenting maintenance records, updating patient data, and adhering to OSHA and DEP standards. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for the transportation of specimens, responding to inquiries via phone, and interpreting laboratory results. This role demands exceptional adaptability and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse patient personalities in a fast-paced setting.
