Henry Community Health is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments using speech and language skills and interviewing techniques.
- Develop and coordinate treatment protocols/programs for patients referred to speech and language service.
- Plan appropriate therapy interventions based on assessed needs.
- Evaluate care given for effectiveness and appropriateness, and adapt treatment protocols as needed.
- Consult with physicians regarding any change in patient condition on treatment program.
- Include patient and family/caregiver in care, and educate caregiver on proper techniques in caring for the patient.
- Supervise, evaluate, and coordinate patient care activities as they relate to speech and language pathology services.
- Completion of clinical fellowship year and certification of clinical competency.
- Licensure with the State of Indiana.
- Masters degree or equivalent from an approved college or university in Speech and Language Pathology.
- 1-2 years of job-related experience.
The Speech and Language Pathologist will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
