Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Henry Community Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning care, providing educational support, and evaluating care given.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments using speech and language skills and interviewing techniques.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment protocols/programs for patients referred to speech and language service.
  • Plan appropriate therapy interventions based on assessed needs.
  • Evaluate care given for effectiveness and appropriateness, and adapt treatment protocols as needed.
  • Consult with physicians regarding any change in patient condition on treatment program.
  • Include patient and family/caregiver in care, and educate caregiver on proper techniques in caring for the patient.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and coordinate patient care activities as they relate to speech and language pathology services.
Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge:

Requires completion of clinical fellowship year as well as certification of clinical competency and licensure with the State of Indiana. Holds a master's degree or equivalent from an approved college or university in Speech and Language Pathology.

Minimum Experience:

Preferred 1-2 years of job-related experience.
