Job Summary

Nutrient Survival is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with food safety and work safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize production equipment and surfaces
  • Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and document actions
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and work safety regulations
  • Report potential issues to the Sanitation Lead

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior food manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of basic chemical uses and cross-contamination hazards
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently reach with hands and arms, twist, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
