Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Electrophysiology Lab Manager or Supervisor, and in collaboration with the EP Cardiologist, the Electrophysiology Technician plays a vital role in assisting with intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implant procedures. This includes the collection and analysis of data, while fulfilling all responsibilities associated with the role of an electrophysiology technician.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute all tasks related to electrophysiology technician duties.
2. Operate essential equipment for monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and electrocardiograms.
3. Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies and ensure all necessary monitors and equipment are set up and functioning.
4. Facilitate pacemaker follow-up appointments in the clinic and manage all relevant equipment.
5. Comply with hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, while performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
Education: Required: Completion of an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology.
Certifications: Required: BLS certification.
