Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Electrophysiology Lab Manager or Supervisor and in collaboration with the EP Cardiologist, the Electrophysiology Technician plays a crucial role in the Electrophysiology laboratory. This position involves assisting the physician during intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implantations, including the collection and analysis of data. The technician is responsible for performing all tasks associated with electrophysiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute all responsibilities of an electrophysiology technician.
2. Operate essential equipment to monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, oxygen levels, and electrocardiograms.
3. Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies and ensure all necessary monitors are set up and functioning.
4. Facilitate pacemaker follow-up appointments in the clinic and manage all required equipment.
5. Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives while performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: Required: Completion of an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology.
Certifications: Required: BLS certification.
