This position will oversee the nutrition counseling initiative, delivering nutritional guidance to diverse age groups, while also contributing to specialized programs.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the ideal candidate will:

provide personalized nutritional counseling to both adult and pediatric clients; collaborate effectively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive nutrition therapy; engage in departmental quality enhancement projects; implement initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes; and serve as a mentor for interns and newly qualified dietitians.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Educational Background:
Master's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice as outlined by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to a specified date:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as mandated by ACEND

Credentialing Requirements:

Must meet the eligibility criteria for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) as set by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and achieve registration within a designated timeframe post-hire.


In certain states and/or facilities, RD/RDN credentials may be necessary at the time of employment. Certification/licensure as mandated by state regulations may also be required.
