Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Capital One. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data processing systems. With a strong background in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and experience with cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per year, based on experience. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in application development and at least 1 year of experience in big data technologies. A Bachelor's Degree is required, and a Master's Degree or higher is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences.
  • Utilize programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
