Role Summary and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities: Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory analyses on blood, tissue, and bodily fluids with minimal oversight. Collaborate with management to monitor quality control metrics to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.

Qualifications:
  • Required Education: Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred Education: Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science.
  • Required Certification: ASCP Certification or equivalent from a recognized certifying body. If not certified upon hire, candidates must be eligible for certification and obtain it within the first year of employment.
  • Preferred Certification: ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
  • Preferred Experience: A minimum of one year of laboratory experience.
