About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Triage Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in mental health and substance use services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide triage screening to individuals presenting at our walk-in clinic, helping to direct them to the appropriate mental health or substance use services.
  • Work closely with other clinical and professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures and expediting service implementation.
  • Perform case management functions, linking and arranging for services and referrals as needed.
  • Support clients in developing various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to create interventions that are strength-based and focused on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and achievement of the highest level of functioning for the client in the community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field and 2+ years of full-time experience working with the population served, or
  • Bachelor's degree in a non-Human Services field and 4+ years of full-time experience working with the population served, or
  • Master's degree or higher and 1+ year of full-time experience working with the population served.
  • License, provisional license, certificate, registration, or permit issued by the governing board regulating the human service profession.
  • Other duties as assigned.
