We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and participate in various technical procedures, including in vivo and in vitro studies.
- Operate radiation detection and measurement instrumentation, including stationary imaging devices and scintillation gamma apparatus.
- Calibrate and prepare radiopharmaceutical materials for administration to patients.
- Monitor Nuclear Medicine Department for possible contamination using a portable Geiger counter.
- Assume care for patients of all ages during examinations and initiate life support measures if necessary.
- Completion of an associate's or bachelor's degree from a formal Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Board Certification by the NMTCB or ARRT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
