Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain diagnostic scans
- Assist physicians in the performance of procedures
Requirements
- 2-year associate degree in nuclear medicine technology or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine
- Certified and registered in nuclear medicine by ARRT or NMTCB
