Job Summary

Allegis Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Information Services department, you will play a critical role in developing and maturing our Enterprise Data Governance Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a data governance training and compliance program for all data management personas.
  • Develop and implement best practices and controls for data governance analysts, including data flow analysis, data source collection, and metadata documentation.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk, compliance, and information security teams to identify and create necessary controls, standards, and procedures for managing critical data elements.
  • Facilitate discovery and understanding of business line reporting processes and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and quality for business-critical reports.
  • Analyze and produce reporting to deliver clear guidance on data governance policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of IT/business experience, with 5+ years of experience in data governance and/or data management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence key business stakeholders with data-driven insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively seek training and learning opportunities.

Salary Range

$93,400-$120,000, with bonus eligibility.

Office Requirements

Required onsite in Hanover, MD 2 days a week.
