Government Solutions Architect

Eccalon's Commercialization Team is responsible for developing and delivering innovative products and strategies to bring advanced solutions to market. This team works across multiple lines of business and collaborates with internal teams to guide innovation and solve customer problems. As a key member of this team, you will design and implement technology solutions that meet the specific needs of government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to government clients on technology trends, best practices, and emerging solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients and stakeholders.
- Engage with government clients to understand their objectives, requirements, and constraints.
- Advise on deployment strategies for government tools and lead the ATO/RMF processes.
- Design scalable and secure technology solutions that align with government regulations, policies, and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance and recommendations.
- Integrate new solutions with existing systems, databases, and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology, government regulations, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent senior-level experience as a Systems or Cloud Architect.
- 10+ years of experience in planning, architecting, and engineering enterprise-class cloud systems and services.
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect at enterprise scale.
- Experience with Federal environments, frameworks, processes, and standards.
- Familiarity with Security Authorization and Assessment (A&A) process and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Familiarity with the ATO process, NIST 800-53, 800-171, 800-190 as well as CMMC, PCI, and HIPAA.
- Knowledge of existing, new, and emerging technologies and ability to incorporate them into new business designs and models.
- Ability to develop solutions with Cloud Architects, DevSecOps, and other development team members.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders and management.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment and able to navigate obstacles.
- Demonstrated versatility and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing strategic relationships with stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure or AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
- Experience managing a portfolio of multiple concurrent projects.
- DoD project experience.
