POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Early Childhood Educator to join our esteemed Early Childhood Education program. This cutting-edge center is part of a transformative educational initiative aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and comprehensively supporting families from early childhood through their educational journey.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in an early childhood educational setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with a co-teacher to design and execute a curriculum of educational activities for infants and toddlers, including detailed weekly lesson plans aligned with specific educational objectives.
  • Create and facilitate experiences that cater to a wide range of developmental and emotional needs, fostering curiosity, initiative, problem-solving abilities, and creativity in children.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans for each child, including necessary IEP and IFSP goals to support individual growth.
  • Organize and lead daily outdoor activities that enhance gross motor skills and encourage social interaction.
  • Establish a nurturing environment that promotes security and trust through warm, supportive interactions with children.
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and social development.
  • Regularly observe and assess each child's growth and development, analyzing progress and communicating findings with families.
  • Engage with families to foster nurturing parent-child relationships.
  • Assist in organizing parent education workshops as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed about innovative practices related to curricula, learning approaches, and social equity.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all information related to the home and educational environment.
LICENSING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
