Job Description

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Task Order Manager to lead a software procurement task order for a large IT program in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The successful candidate will work closely with the task order team, internal Leidos procurement teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure the task order is successful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the software procurement task order, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and project management best practices.
  • Collaborate with the task order team to define requirements, priorities, risks, schedule, quality, and processes.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of the task order.
  • Manage and direct a team of professionals, providing guidance and oversight to ensure successful task order execution.
  • Provide primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.
Requirements
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience; OR additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must currently possess an active TS clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI with Polygraph post-hire.
  • Significant experience with software procurement, IT programs, and processes.
  • Understanding of agile organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience briefing all levels of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • An active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
  • Geospatial and/or NGA experience.
  • PMP certification.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web services (AWS).
  • Understanding of agile SW development methodologies.
