We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at VCU Health - MCV Physicians. As a key member of our hospital team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and education to medical students, residents, and fellows.
About the Position: This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of two years of experience in pediatric hospital medicine, board certification in pediatrics or internal medicine-pediatrics, and eligibility for medical licensure in Virginia. Prior leadership experience or program development in pediatric hospital medicine is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Practice: Provide direct clinical care to children with acute or chronic diseases, working closely with other pediatric specialists and hospital teams.
- Educational Opportunities: Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as educating ancillary staff on best practices.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes, serve on hospital or departmental committees, and engage in professional activities through journal review, conference presentations, and national organization committee work.
What We Offer: A competitive salary range of $200,000 - $250,000 per year, based on experience, excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
