**Job Description:**
Nephrologist/Hospitalist PositionWe seek an experienced Nephrologist/Hospitalist physician to join our team at VCU Health - MCV Physicians. As a key member of our department, you will contribute to the educational and clinical activities of our divisions of Nephrology and Hospital Medicine.
**Responsibilities:**
- Teaching: Teach fellows, residents, and medical students using adult learning methods that enhance active learning and ongoing professional development.
- Research: Participate in clinical and administrative research opportunities, including performance improvement initiatives or extramurally funded investigations.
- Service: Collaborate with institutional staff and administration to achieve strategic objectives, including patient safety, satisfaction, and fiscal health.
- Clinical: Provide excellent patient care in transplant and general nephrology, as well as focused areas of interest and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
**Requirements:**
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in General Nephrology.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats.
**Preferred Qualifications:** Demonstrated achievement as an educator, scholar, clinician, and/or leader.
