Queensbury, New York, United States Northern Rivers Family of Services Full time
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team as a Youth ACT Clinician. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide intensive, community-based services to youth and families. Your primary goal will be to help children avoid hospitalizations and out-of-home placements by offering medication treatment, therapy, skill-building, and psychoeducational support.

As a Clinician, you will report directly to the Director of Youth ACT and work on-site and in the community, traveling to clients' homes when necessary. You will be responsible for managing a shared caseload and collaborating with collateral providers involved in the lives of the youth and family. You will also have opportunities to provide holistic care through individual, group, and family counseling modalities.

This role requires specialized training in the Youth ACT model, person-centered planning, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, social determinants of health, cultural competence, implicit bias, and other best practices. You must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and NYS professional licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, or LMFT). A year of post-graduate experience is preferred, but not required. A valid NYS driver's license is essential, as this role involves community-based work and travel.
