Job Summary:

CareNation is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical team. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will provide professional nursing care to patients and their families, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, following established standards and practices.
  • Coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure maximal coordination of efforts and active patient participation in planning and care.
  • Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures, perform telephone triage as needed, and participate in patient teaching.
  • Provide direction to licensed practical nurses, clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered nurse licensed to practice in New York State (NYS) with current NYS registration and in good standing.
  • EMT License and EMT Experience required.
  • Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year experience as a registered nurse or two years as a licensed practical nurse in a pertinent practice area.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least two years of recent pertinent professional nursing experience in a hospital, medical office, or other clinical setting.
