Nurse Care Specialist

Job Summary:
OakBend Medical Center seeks a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to provide high-quality patient care and lead clinical teams in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Supervise and direct clinical personnel in providing direct patient care.
- Ensure high-quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients in achieving optimal health and functional status.
- Prepare patients and families for continued perinatal care through collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- One year of previous Labor & Delivery clinical experience preferred.
- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.
- American Heart Association BLS required.
- NRP required within 6 months of hire.
- Interpersonal and critical thinking skills required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic clinical, computer, and typing skills.
