The role of the Veterinary Client Service Specialist is crucial as you will be the initial point of contact for our clients, both in-person and over the phone. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with appointment scheduling, addressing inquiries, and providing detailed information about our veterinary services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet clients and their pets upon arrival
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and oversee the appointment calendar
- Gather and update patient information accurately
- Assist clients with questions and share information regarding our offerings
- Handle payment transactions and maintain financial documentation
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient care
- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry and inventory management
- Uphold a clean and sanitary workspace
- Complete additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Experience in practice management is advantageous
- A minimum of one year in a veterinary setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for superior customer service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Competence in computer systems and basic IT skills
- Prior experience as a receptionist is beneficial but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn
- A passion for animal welfare and a sincere commitment to their care
