The role of the Veterinary Client Service Specialist is crucial as you will be the initial point of contact for our clients, both in-person and over the phone. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with appointment scheduling, addressing inquiries, and providing detailed information about our veterinary services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet clients and their pets upon arrival
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and oversee the appointment calendar
  • Gather and update patient information accurately
  • Assist clients with questions and share information regarding our offerings
  • Handle payment transactions and maintain financial documentation
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient care
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry and inventory management
  • Uphold a clean and sanitary workspace
  • Complete additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Experience in practice management is advantageous
  • A minimum of one year in a veterinary setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for superior customer service
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Competence in computer systems and basic IT skills
  • Prior experience as a receptionist is beneficial but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn
  • A passion for animal welfare and a sincere commitment to their care
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
