Primary Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Assistant to join our team at Mercy Clinic Ozark Family Medicine. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our providers in a fast-paced primary care environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for visits by completing advanced standard room processes, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and documentation in Epic.
- Assist with in-office testing, such as drawing blood, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
- Administer vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
