We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team at James River Church. As a key member of our Weekday Preschool program, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our young students.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and executing the curriculum for the Weekday Preschool program.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Implement James River Church's Weekday Preschool Curriculum in your classroom.
- Take attendance and maintain accurate records.
- Follow State guidelines for sanitation requirements in rooms.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Complete background screening prior to start date.
- Register with Family Care Registry prior to start date.
- Provide physical exam results and TB test results prior to start date.
- Attend James River Church Grow Track Classes prior to start date.
- Read License Exempt Rule Book and sign required statement.
- Read the James River Weekday Preschool Teacher Handbook and sign required statement.
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach.
- Ability to walk independently up and down a normal flight of 13-15 stairs.
