At TEKsystems, we are seeking a highly skilled Desktop and Network Support Specialist to join our team.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop operating systems, particularly Windows, and experience with Active Directory and network security.


This is a day shift position, with a preference for early risers who can come into the office early. The successful candidate will be dedicated to staffing our 'end user computing' genius bar and will work closely with other team members to provide excellent support to our end-users.


The Desktop Support Specialist will be responsible for laptop encryption, patch management, and other related tasks. They will need to have a good understanding of Windows OS experience (desktop and server), Active Directory experience, network security at the desktop level, and an understanding of Storage and security at the server level.


We offer a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated annual salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 based on the location in Raleigh, NC.


The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:



  • Windows OS experience (desktop and server)
  • Active Directory experience
  • Network security at the desktop level
  • Understanding of Storage and security at the server level
  • Laptop encryption experience
  • Experience with patch management
