Escrow Funder

We are seeking a highly skilled Escrow Funder to join our team at Fidelity National Financial. As an Escrow Funder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of escrow transactions.

• Maintain Knowledge of Policies and Procedures: Stay up-to-date with the latest policies and procedures related to documents and funding.
• Disburse Proceeds and Manage Records: Accurately disburse proceeds on closing files and maintain accurate records of invoices and demands for escrow files.
• Work with Bank Portals: Initiate or confirm outgoing wires within bank portals.
• Review Loan Documents: Accurately and timely review of all loan documents.
• Reconcile Fees and Figures: Accurate and timely reconciliation of all fees and figures relating to each loan.
• Research and Resolve Issues: Research and resolve problems or complaints from internal and external customers.
• Prepare Outstanding Items List: Prepare a complete list of outstanding items remaining after review or corrections and promptly forward to broker and closing agent or Title Company.
• Follow Loan Checklist: Follow loan checklist order as conditions are signed off and new information is received.
• Input Funding Fields: Perform accurate input of all required funding fields prior to input in order to generate correct wire amount.
• Prepare Funding Package: Prepare the funding package and coordinate the timing of the loan funding request.
• Verify Conditions: Verify that conditions have been approved by the appropriate party.
• Maintain Familiarity with Residential Mortgage Documents: Maintain familiarity with residential mortgage documents.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work directly with processing, underwriting, loan officers, settlement agents, title, Loan center & Loan support areas.
• Review CD & HUD: Review CD & HUD to ensure compliance.

• Education: High School Graduate; College Graduate preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as an Escrow Assistant; SoftPro and SmartView experience; Experience managing fiduciary funds in a title and settlement business or accounting experience.
• Skills: Warm, upbeat personality; exceptional customer service and interpersonal communications; detail-oriented & quality-focused with proven time management, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills; proven ability for accuracy while working quickly and reliably meeting deadlines; ability to work independently and be self-motivated, following processes with minimal supervision.
