Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Escrow Funder to join our team at Fidelity National Financial. As an Escrow Funder, you will play a critical role in maintaining current knowledge of policies and procedures, disbursing proceeds on closing files, and ensuring accurate records of all invoices and demands for escrow files.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures as they relate to documents and funding.
• Disburse all proceeds on closing files and keep accurate records of all invoices/demands for escrow files.
• Work within bank portals and initiate or confirm outgoing wires.
• Accurately and timely review of all loan documents.
• Accurately and timely reconciliation of all fees and figures relating to each loan.
• Review payoff demands, calculate per diem and other charges.
• Research and resolve problems or complaints from internal and external customers.
• Prepare a complete list of all outstanding items remaining after review or corrections that must be made and promptly forward to broker and closing agent or Title Company.
• Follow loan checklist order as conditions are signed off and new information is received.
• Perform accurate input of all required funding fields prior to input in order to generate correct wire amount.
• Prepare the funding package and coordinate the timing of the loan funding request.
• Verify that conditions have been approved by the appropriate party.
• Maintain familiarity with residential mortgage documents.
• Work directly with processing, underwriting, loan officers, settlement agents, title, Loan center & Loan support areas.
• Review CD & HUD to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate (Mandatory)
• College Graduate preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience as an Escrow Assistant
• SoftPro and SmartView experience
• Experience managing fiduciary funds in a title and settlement business or accounting experience.
• Warm, upbeat personality; were a busy office and a positive attitude is what helps us all during stressful times
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communications (both written and oral). You believe in customer service and respond rapidly to all customer questions and requests
• Detail-oriented & quality-focused with proven time management, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability for accuracy while working quickly and reliably meeting deadlines
• Can stay calm under pressure and while multi-tasking, and working at a fast pace required on a high-volume team
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, following processes with minimal supervision; were looking for those rock stars that pride themselves in being able to get things done right and on time
• Confident computer user (work includes use of Outlook, SoftPro, Excel, and Web/social media)
