Job Title: Escrow Funder

We are seeking a highly skilled Escrow Funder to join our team at Fidelity National Financial. As an Escrow Funder, you will play a critical role in maintaining current knowledge of policies and procedures related to documents and funding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of all invoices and demands for escrow files.
  • Work within bank portals to initiate or confirm outgoing wires.
  • Review loan documents and reconcile fees and figures.
  • Research and resolve problems or complaints from internal and external customers.
  • Prepare a complete list of outstanding items remaining after review or corrections.
  • Follow loan checklist order as conditions are signed off and new information is received.
  • Perform accurate input of all required funding fields prior to input in order to generate correct wire amount.
  • Verify that conditions have been approved by the appropriate party.
  • Maintain familiarity with residential mortgage documents.
  • Work directly with processing, underwriting, loan officers, settlement agents, title, Loan center & Loan support areas.
  • Review CD & HUD to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate
  • College Graduate preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an Escrow Assistant
  • SoftPro and SmartView experience
  • Experience managing fiduciary funds in a title and settlement business or accounting experience.
  • Warm, upbeat personality
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communications
  • Detail-oriented & quality-focused with proven time management, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability for accuracy while working quickly and reliably meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Confident computer user
