Position Overview
We are excited to present an opportunity for a Cost Engineer within our Centers of Excellence division. Reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing program budgets, commitments, forecasts, and actual expenditures.
- Monitoring contract and invoice approvals.
- Processing change orders and tracking their progress.
- Distributing contractor contract authorizations.
- Maintaining documentation related to contract contingencies and allowances.
- Reviewing contractor payment applications and diversity & inclusion plans.
- Preparing monthly budget and cost reports.
- Collaborating with Project Managers for updated forecast information.
- Ensuring adherence to client procedures.
- Performing data entry tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Controls, with a focus on cost management.
- Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) for budget and cost oversight.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- A detail-oriented team player capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Preferred certifications from AACE or CMAA.
