Job Overview

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist at TEKsystems, you will be responsible for maintaining the hardware and software lifecycle of our organization's assets. This includes developing and managing asset lifecycle tracking and planning processes, as well as maintaining accurate Asset Repository/CMDB for all Software and Hardware assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory of software and hardware assets.
  • Develop and manage asset lifecycle tracking and planning processes.
  • Maintain accurate Asset Repository/CMDB for all Software and Hardware assets.
  • Coordinate and schedule asset shipping for all sites.
  • Provide status report and dashboard reporting.
  • Maintain software asset management tools.
  • Obtain software vendor quotes.
  • Identify savings opportunities through software re-harvesting and license optimization.
  • Perform data loads of new hardware assets and consumables in ServiceNow.
  • Process and ensure the accuracy of damage and defective returns.
  • Ensure standards, guidelines, and controls are maintained.
  • Track progress and follow-up of issues and assist with troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems.
  • Manage Adobe suite software Licensing.
  • Manage and resolve Escalations.
  • Manage Projects (Fulfilling, shipping, and documenting).
  • Coordinate and schedule asset disposal pick up.

Additionally, you will be responsible for performing imaging and device configuration for deployment.
