About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate - Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Mercer Investments LLC. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in evaluating real assets markets, identifying investment opportunities, and managing client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform investment due diligence on primary funds and co-investments in infrastructure, providing project support and taking on senior roles related to project delivery.
  • Prepare screening memos and detailed investment recommendations to support the investment decision-making process.
  • Support the portfolio construction process on behalf of client programs, monitoring investments through regular calls and meetings with fund managers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with fund managers and intermediaries to ensure a systematic coverage of relevant investment opportunities.
  • Support intellectual capital development through the preparation of regular market update documents.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests from clients and consultants, and act as an ambassador for the Mercer Alternatives team at industry events.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in asset management, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS office applications.
  • Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn and support different projects.
