Department Director

This position is responsible for leading the Network, Integration, & Automation (NIA) Department in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Global practice in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to grow the Department in a profitable manner based upon Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety, and overall outstanding service.
This position will collaborate closely with several other managers within Mid-Atlantic Region and the global practice's leadership team including:
Key Collaborations:
- T&D Global Practice Manager - responsible for overall T&D business within the region.
- T&D Operations Manager - responsible for internal department personnel, operations, and coordination with section and department manager(s) throughout the region.
- T&D Projects Manager - responsible for overall business development and execution of T&D projects within the region.
- NIA Managing Director - responsible for overall NIA strategy and direction across our national practice.
- Peer T&D Department and Section managers - responsible for staffing, career development, and direct supervision of drafting, project support, and design resources throughout the company.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years related professional experience. Registration as a professional engineer, or currently pursuing professional registration, is strongly preferred.
The expected compensation range for this position is $130,000.00 Annually, and the total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.

This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
