Job Summary

The Production Engineer and Editor will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining production audio, video, and lighting systems for worship experiences and events at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. This role will work closely with the Production Department's team to ensure seamless execution of services and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement production systems across all campus venues.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage and maintain standards for network and end-point equipment.
  • Provide technical training for staff on new systems and technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging production technologies and trends, adjusting engineering standards as necessary.
  • Support campus teams during execution of services and events.
  • Act as a Tier II escalation point for troubleshooting and resolution of campus technical issues.
  • Track inventory, maintenance records, and life cycle of equipment across campuses.
  • Pioneer new systems and generate fresh ideas through collaboration with ministry, creative, and production teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, preferred.
  • At least 5 years' experience gained through increasing positions within the discipline, preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment within lighting systems.
  • Ability to lead projects, meet deadlines, and have strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships.
