Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Summit Academy. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide trauma-informed treatment to adolescents in our residential school.

Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and leading individual and group sessions. You will also maintain accurate case file documentation and collaborate with our Medical Director and Program Manager.

We offer comprehensive training in trauma-informed treatment and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, you will receive supervision hours to support your professional growth.

The schedule for this full-time position includes four weekdays of 9:00am to 5:00pm and one day working 12:00pm-8:00pm.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, or Family Studies.
  • Previous experience working with adolescents in a mental health setting is preferred but not required.
  • Child abuse, criminal history, driver's license, FBI, and medical clearances are required upon employment.

Salary is based on experience, and we offer an exceptional benefits package, complimentary meals, and parking. This position also qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
