Job Title: Therapy Team Lead

ClearSky Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapy Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Therapy department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest level of patient care, and driving excellence in our rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Therapy Operations to coordinate therapy staffing and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and CMS requirements.
  • Orient new therapy staff to hospital and department requirements and expectations.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Director of Therapy Operations on quality, documentation, and patient outcomes.
  • Work with the Director of Therapy Operations to resolve patient complaints and initiate action plans for resolution.
  • Ensure therapy staff is competent and coordinates additional annual training with the interdepartmental team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate therapy practice with the patient's total healthcare plan.
  • Assist with the development and growth of department programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Two years of direct patient care and treatment experience.
  • Experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.
  • Current state license in PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Must maintain an acceptable driving record, current driver's license, and insurability.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards and clinical operations.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization.
Physical Requirements:

A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care. Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
